Founding
Daussiny Laser Welding was established in Hengelo in 2008 by engineer Han ten Siethof and is as such a relatively young company. Han ten Siethof already has many years of experience in the field of pillowplates. From the very beginning, Daussiny Laser Welding has concentrated on quality in the broadest sense of the word. In the early years, the focus was on optimising the laser welding machine and the quality of, for example, the control system for this machine. After the machine was further developed, it was time to develop the pillowplates into a high-quality product. After the development process was finished, Daussiny could enter the market with its pillowplates.

In the early years, the focus was on optimising the laser welding machine and the quality of, for example, the control system for this machine. After the machine was further developed, it was time to develop the pillowplates into a high-quality product. After the development process was finished, Daussiny could enter the market with its pillowplates.
Laser welding machine or pillowplate?
In the initial years, the strategy of Daussiny Laser Welding had not been fully developed. It was possible to opt for the construction of laser welding machines or to manufacture pillowplates in-house using a laser welding machine. A combination of both of these options was also possible. After Richter Staalservice (nowadays Richter Lasersnijtechniek) from Enschede submitted a request for two laser welding machines in 2010, everything fell into place. The combination of Richter Staalservice, with its large stock and laser cutting machines, and Daussiny Laser Welding, that mainly possessed a great deal of knowledge and a network within the pillowplate market, quickly prompted the intention to enter into high-level collaboration. In 2010, this resulted in formal collaboration between Daussiny Laser Welding and Richter Staalservice.
From Handelskade West 6 to Handelskade Noord 1
From 2010, the work activities of Richter Staalservice and Daussiny Laser Welding were merged in one complex, i.e. at Handelskade West 6 in Enschede. The decision to combine a laser cutting company and a laser welding company in order to manufacture pillowplates has quickly proved to be extremely sound. This combination has enabled pillowplates to be manufactured at an unprecedented speed. Since the opportunities for the future were very promising, it was quickly decided to implement expansion and this has resulted in the new construction work at Handelskade Noord 1 in Enschede. The new construction work was completed in September 2013.
Daussiny Laser Welding is fully operational in the pillowplates market, and in the meantime, has become one of the biggest players in this market. By continuing to expand its experience, Daussiny has become as a partner that is renowned for its quality, reliability, speed and flexibility.
